firmware flashing on RKM possible

Hello, I'am the prowd owner of a RKM MK902II which should have the same hardware as the rk3288 has anyone here some information on how to flash that device with the firefly ubuntu image?
The ubuntu imagfe is one image file and I presume it was ment for putting on a SD card but I would love to write it to flash.
