Title: Your hardware setup

Attaching a picture of my Firefly-RK3399 with a battery charge/discharge pcb (from my work, modified to give 12 V output and controlled over I2C from the firefly board) underneath and a 16,8 V battery at the bottom. Also equipped with a 4G module and touchscreen to be truly mobile.

Looks a little ghetto atm but the plan is to 3D print a more proper "case" for it. A work in progress

It has now evolved into this. Still a few things to do but essentially a Firefly-RK3399 "laptop" with 194 Wh of battery power.

Hi, could you bring more details on how did you manage to use a battery for powering the board?
Does the android system detect the charge level in the battery?

Where have you got standoff/supports for M.2 slot for 4G module?
