Title: Queries on Peripherals and Android
Last edited by biplab.kundu In 1/17/2022 22:26 Editor

We are evaluating ROC-RK3566-PC for our product, we have some queries from hardware peripherals support and Android-11:
1.        Does it support RS232 ?
2.        Firefly provides antenna. What is the antenna length?  Can we customize antenna length?
3.        Will firefly share android 11 source code with us for customization or configuration modification? If yes, from where ?
4.        Does base Android 11 provided by Firefly support future OTA? If so, till when Firefly will support OTA ?
5.        Do you have eMMC flash process for mass production?

1.ROC-RK3566-PC does not extend the RS232 interface

2. Total length of this copper tube antenna is18cm. What length of antenna do you need, you could contact with  sales@t-firefly.com for customization

3. The source code has been open , you could download the Android11 source code in google driver https://en.t-firefly.com/doc/download/93.html#other_386 . For more information, please refer to wiki  https://wiki.t-firefly.com/en/ROC-RK3566-PC/

4. We are adapting Android 12. For now you could refer to the document at source code RKDocs/android/
¡¶Rockchip_Introduction_OTA_from_Android9.0_Android10.0_to_Android11.0_CN&EN.pdf¡·

5. For mass production£¬we usually use Micro SD card to upgrade firmware into eMMC. https://wiki.t-firefly.com/en/RO ... de_firmware_sd.html
