How to use EC20 4G Module with RK3399 build Android 7.1 from source

I am building the RK339 Android 7.1 ROM from source. I download to board. The board works well.
In Settings I go to More -> Mobile Plan and it says "Please insert SIM card and restart".

The China Mobile SIM is installed. I'm located in Hong Kong.

I go to same menu and see same message about inserting SIM card.

Do I need to build the ROM with a custom setting ?

Hi

By "firmware" do you mean the Android 7.1 ROM that I'm building? If so...that is my question...what do I need to do at build time in order to get support for EC20 ?

Ok it turns out that the SIM card was inserted incorrectly. Its a shame that its possible to do that but anyway its working now.
