My Firefly is dead

Went to switch it on this morning and it is completely dead.

Hooked it up to my PC but it isn't being recognised there either.

Checked the status of the ac unit and that is fine.

What had you done to it?

Try attach a serial adapter to it and see if anything comes out.

I just started it up as usual.




Tried a serial adapter but getting?absolutely nothing.

If the on board flash is trashed connect a micro usb cable from the otg port to a PC as the device may be in MaskRom Mode.?Then use something like RKAndroidTool, RKBatchTool?to see if the device is detected.

I tried to see if it was in maskrom mode and used all of the available tools but none see the firefly in any way, shape or form.

Took it to a local sparky, who ran the multimeter tests over it and found no life whatsoever.
