Screen Scaling/Resize app for Lubuntu?

Hi

In Lubuntu left side of screen and bottom taskbar is cut of from my screen.

Very difficult to navigate without knowing what you are clicking.

Is there an app or command for Lubuntu that can resize the screen and make it smaller like in Android, so everything fits on the screen, 1080p TV.

Re: Screen Scaling/Resize app for Lubuntu?

Hi dewet,

I have added the following lines in my /etc/rc.local file to make it fit to the screen

echo xscale=95 > /sys/devices/fb.8/graphics/fb0/scale
echo yscale=95 > /sys/devices/fb.8/graphics/fb0/scale

Cheers-

Mac

You can try using this program for screen scaling:
  1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:zone-xom/ugoos-scaler
  2. sudo apt-get update
  3. sudo apt-get  install uscaler
Copy the code
