【General】 First connect on RK3308B

Dear,

I am a novice to this B2B technology (basic DIY/RaspberryPi/Linux knowledge), so forgive me questions.
Driver, RKdevInfoWrite installation and use is OK (e.g. readingLAN MAC is successfull).
RK3308B is connected to the network and visible in DHCP table.

First Question: What is the default system installed on the RK3308?

Second question, Attempts to connect:
2. Attempt to login using Putty (SSH): connection refused
3. Attempt to login using WinScp (SFTP) not successful
4. Attempt to login using WinScp (FTP)
'Prompting for credentials: username'
tried several options (root, firefly, rockchip, ...)
in all cases: 'target machine actively refused connection'.
Can somebody provide the login information?

Third question,
Attempt to use SD card to boot
Attempt to write a linux distribution with BalenaEtcher gives error: 'not a bootable image', Etcher doesn't not allow to write.
ImageWriter does write the image, but no changes in the behavior, I suspect the SD is indeed not bootable.
How can we write a bootable SD-card?

We probably will have more questions.
Thanks for the support,
L.

Hi,
Some progress, successfully installed 'ROC-RK3308B-CC-PLUS Ubuntu Desktop Firmware'. The hardware is visible on LAN under a new name: 'firefly'. Now stuck on username and password...
Used the obvious ones... root, firefly, rockchip...
Thanks,
L.
