Lunbun kernel is the same as Android .

1.  cd ~/proj/linux-rockchip
2.  git clone https://github.com/TeeFirefly/initrd.git
3. make -C initrd
+4.  truncate -s %4 initrd.img
  5.  mkkrnlimg initrd.img boot.img # pack as RK KRNL format
#or#  mkbootimg --kernel $ZIMAGE --ramdisk $INITRD -o $LINUX_BOOT_IMG
