Hi, The Firefly-RK3288 preview version of Android 5.1 Lollipop firmware have released, it is more smooth than android 4.4 when operating. The source sdk will be opened later.

If you want to have a taste, download it from google driver.

Can I ask you, if you are working on a version that will support Google Play service?

Thanks!

Hi, cappybob
What can I do for you.

Just wanted to Thank you for the great work you are doing, now and again in a few days with the RK3288 SDK release.  One Question are you doing any work on the new RK3368 formats (aarch 32 and aarch 64), and the multicore configs.  I have become mesmerized with all the new octa-core build(s) and its many options.

Could you confirm what will be the support of the Firefly for the "Android TV" version of Android (the one with leanback launcher, and chromecast receiver functionalities). Is it going to a the same release or a different one?

Thanks a lot.

zhansb,
I tried to create a SD image for Android 5.1.1 based on your image but it just goes to Android Recovery mode continuesly when I boot from SD.
I don't know what is wrong, but can you please provide SD Card image of Android 5.1.1 Preview to allow us test it from SD instead of eMMC?

Thanks
