Any way to do video IN for release version

Hi,
beta version of firefly had video IN, we are looking to have the same, on the production version, preferably in VGA / HDMI format, any ideas / tip / documentation we could use to achieve this?

We have removed the VGA IN for release version in order to support dual LVDS  and dual  MIPI.

Any chance to recieve a dev or pre-release with video IN ?
What would be the best way for vga-IN with the release version ?

I think the only way to get VGA-IN is to change the hardware design back to the beta one.
