Power Connector Size?

Im looking at getting a heavy duty power adapter here for overclocking and heavy stress testing

What I want to know is does the board already have a 2.1mm plug or should i purchase the usb converter for the Power adapter?

From the pictures you can see the board has a female dc connector. But i do not know the size, i would like to know the size as well

The power interface on Firefly is DC4.0 standard.

It's not a standard 2.5/2.1mm DC socket (see my comment) ?so you will need the usb adapter.

Thanks again Jas :] alright i was hoping i didnt but its not a big deal

Want to try for 2.5ghz so need to make sure power isnt an issue

I only saw usb chargers 5v 3a on aliexpress, but thy do not seem quite good fron feedback. So any suggestion? Can i buy one with 1.7mm x 4.4 mm, is it sure?

i decided the 4amp one would be enough for my needs :] its cheaper too

any reason you wouldnt go beyond 3amp? as im aware the board will only pull what it needs so going beyond 3 would only mean more headroom.

The Firefly is internally protected at the dc plug with a 3 Amp fusible link. So if pull over 3 amps on the board you will be learning how to solder a new power plug on the board. Look at the schematics third page power supply upper right hand corner.
