How to change the logo of firefly which comes during booting process

Hi,
I want to replace the firefly logo with mine.
What are the steps to do that?

Just change the kernel/logo.bmp with same size and mode picture.

But I don't understand the mode.
And size means the size of .bmp file right?

Yes , just check the property of the original logo.bmp file.
Try to make your bmp is the same size of the logo.bmp.
Like resolution , color depth and more .
