Recently picked up a couple of Firefly-RK3288s for a mobile project under Android. I have an ACM USB gps that shows up and spews out NMEA messages at /dev/ttyACM0, however it appears the stock build of Android is missing the gps_default.so and related configuration files to make it usable by the system. Do I have to build the entire system from scratch to get this working or does anyone have the necessary files built to get this working? If I do have to build the system - what would I need to toggle to make sure support gets built in?

thanks for the help.

Well I guess I'll be getting the RockMetal board. Shame because this project is going to expand to several hundred boards - maybe the ChipSpark folks will be more responsive.

I think gps_default.so should fetch from gps vendor.
I find sdk provide ap6xxx gps driver, but not usb gps.

It should not be too difficult to implement a generic 'gps_default' driver if one doesn't exist.
