Is the camera FPC connector on the baseboard installed backwards?

I have a bunch of cameras here that should work on the Fireprime but they are all 1-24 pin mirror image from the FPC connector on the Fireprime base board.  The Fireprime FPC connector is a 'bottom' contact type. For the way it is laid out it should be a 'top' contact type.

If I flip my camera cable over to make contact in the FPC connector, pins 1-24 are a mirror image of what they should be.

Two solutions
1) stick with the bottom contact connector, re-layout the board with pins 1-24 mirror imaged.
2) leave the layout alone and switch to a top contact connector.

I don't think anyone makes cameras matching the existing Fireprime layout.

We have replaced the connector on the Fireprme with a bottom contact one and we have a camera working now.

I meant to say we replaced it with a top contact connector. Bottom contact is what is on the board and it is wrong.
